At At Endeavor Farm , we believe learning to ride occurs in four overlapping stages: balance, position, the aids, and feel. Correctly assessing each rider's developmental stage allows us to target our instruction for maximum effectiveness and success. Within this philosophy, we provide instruction that includes theory, modeling, guided practice and independent practice. Instruction is based on the principles of classical dressage, but especially seeks to integrate these principles into all interactions between rider and horse.

Whether you ride for fun or competitively, around the field or around the dressage arena, our goal is to heighten your understanding of your horse and to help you improve your own and your horse's skill level. We offer sessions here at our facility or at yours, support for riders new to dressage or eventing, and welcome and enjoy beginner riders. We also welcome those from disciplines other than dressage and we LOVE kids!

“Seminars" here at the farm provide for in-depth study of a particular topic or skill. Seminar topics range from improving rider position, and showing strategy to therapeutic massage for horses and riders and correct shoeing for the performance sport horse. Seminars may feature guest presenters and trainers and are usually offered on a monthly basis.

Weekend packages are available on a limited basis and offer two intensive days of comprehensive support for a horse and rider. Two lessons each day, theory discussions and video review combine to assess and sharpen horse and rider skills in selected areas. For the rider or horse that needs an immediate and intensive intervention, a weekend package can accomplish much in a short period of time.

If you are a competitive dressage rider, our comprehensive program is designed to take you from a daily warm up program through success in the show arena. And yes, our horses and riders are very successful at shows! We attend select dressage shows each year and hope you will come up and say "hello" if you see us there, or alternatively come to our farm for a closer look at what we do.
